After 10+ years of long hours in the ad agency life, I decided to take more control over my time by becoming a freelance writer. My first move was to travel throughout Mexico for a month. It was a great way to deepen my appreciation for a culture and cuisine I’ve always admired. It also gave me my first taste of working remotely, as I was able to secure freelance work writing social media posts between taco excursions. This was an arrangement I could get used to.

So here I am, a year and many countries later, on a year-long trip around the world. I’m glad you could come along for the adventure.
